Hamper gifted for review, all opinions are my own
Are you looking for a Christmas hamper to send during this year’s festivities? I have been kindly gifted a First Noel Hamper from Highland Fayre and this review takes a look at what I thought.
Being a total foodie, I love receiving food-based gifts at Christmas. And what’s better than a Christmas hamper stacked full of yummy goodies?
First Noel Christmas Hamper From Highland Fayre
The first thing that really stood out to me about this hamper was the beautiful colour. The bright red hamper basket is so festive and makes a lovely change from your typical Christmas hamper. It is definitely something that I will keep and use year after year, even if just for displaying gifts or extra food.

This hamper offers a good range of products, so if you’re sending it to family or friends there is sure to be something to keep everyone happy. There is also a good range of well-known brands such as Mrs Bridges and Dormen as well as some smaller brands.
While there are things you would expect such as mince pies and biscuits and there are also some more exciting items such as the bruschetta bites (which would be perfect for serving with a glass of prosecco on Christmas Eve!)
There is also one product which I don’t think we see enough and which is sure to keep Nan’s up and down the county happy; an entire box of Dark Chocolate Strawberry fondants.
Am I the person that goes straight for one of these in a box of Quality Street? Yes, I am. Would I eat this entire box to myself if I could? Also yes.

One of our favourite items in the hamper was the Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella crisps, we loved these and could have eaten several tubs of them, they had such a lovely flavour. Another thing we really enjoyed was the Christmas Wreaths which look so wonderfully festive.

How Much Is The First Noel Christmas Hamper From Highland Fayre?
This hamper costs:
£42.95 Gift Price net of VAT
£49.30 Gift Price inc of VAT
While it can sometimes be cheaper to make your own Christmas hampers, it’s worth remembering that you’re paying for the convenience of having someone else do all of the hard work for you as well as the beautiful presentation and speed delivery. Personally, I do not enjoy lugging several heavy hampers to the post office!
Overall I really enjoyed this hamper. The delivery was quick, it was well presented (can I mention again the beautiful red hamper basket?) and it had a good range of products – I think there would be at least one foodie thing inside (if not several!) each family member would enjoy!
