If you’re looking to uplift your pigs in blankets game this festive season then I have the perfect recipe for you -Honey Glazed Pigs In Blankets. The sweet honey really helps to cut through the saltiness of the bacon and I add fresh rosemary to this dish even more extra.

Cheesecake is one of my absolute favourite desserts and there are just so many different varieties to try! This recipe is for my White Chocolate Cheesecake with a mixed berry compote made from frozen fruit. It’s delicious at any time of year but I think the berries make it an especially lovely summer dessert.
This simple yet versatile recipe is perfect for adding to a multitude of dishes – from popping on top of cheesecake to adding to a large stack of American Style Pancakes. My frozen mixed berry compote recipe has just three ingredients two of which are store cupboard staples, so all you need to add is frozen fruit!
While the end of summer may now be approaching, that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of time left to try some of these delicious summer recipes. In fact, you could bring some sunshine into your life by using these recipes at any time of year! Here is my Summer Recipes Round Up.
Boursin cheese is creamy, very garlicky and completely delicious. It also makes wonderful pasta sauce. This simple Boursin pasta sauce recipe is perfect for using up any leftover Boursin leftovers you might have and turning it into a quick and easy meal for lunch or dinner.
Somerset Apple Cake Recipe is one of my all-time favourite things to make. It’s easy to make and has a lovely warming autumnal feel too it. Perfect if you have lots of windfall cooking apples that need using up or have been given some by a friend or relative and aren’t sure what to do with them.
Surely it’s not just me that’s completely obsessed with Halloumi? I’m currently loving it in all it’s forms – deep-fried, grilled, even in a wrap as a tasty lunch. Halloumi fries have become a firm favourite in our house – either as a side or as a stand-alone snack. They are delicious, easy to make and in this version have herbs added to give them an extra kick of flavour.
One of my favourite things to do is try and recreate my favourite restaurant meals at home. Sometimes I’ll make the whole dish, sometimes I’ll have a craving for just one or two side dishes. Nandos Macho Peas are a perfect example of this. I love eating them at Nandos but they also go perfectly with lots of other dishes too. It’s also a great way to make the humble pea much more exciting.
Loaded potato skins are great for lots of reasons. They make and easy delicious starter while using ingredients that might otherwise have been discarded. Plus, these loaded potato skins are vegetarian too which makes a change from the usual version which tends to be bacon and cheese.
